Registration Information

Register online by April 15 and receive the discounted early registration fee of $180. For registrations received by mail or after April 15, the registration fee is $220.


Workshop confirmations will be mailed in advance if an email address is provided.  Name badges will be provided onsite.

Onsite Workshops

The meeting will be held at the Hurst Convention Center, 1601 Campus Drive, Hurst, Texas.  Registration fee includes handouts, refreshments, continental breakfast Thursday and Friday, and lunch on Thursday. Due to limited, seating this event is open to registered delegates only and is not open to guests. If special circumstances require bringing a guest, please contact us at for pricing.

Cancellation and Substitution Policy

If you are registered and cannot attend, we encourage you to send a substitute. If you cannot send a substitute, a $45 cancellation fee will be assessed if written cancellation is emailed to by April 15 for the May Hurst workshop.No refunds will be honored after that date.

Hotel Information


The May 2-3 meeting will be held at the Hurst Convention Center, 1601 Campus Drive, Hurst, Texas  76054.

A room block has been reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn, 1615 Campus Drive, Hurst, Texas 76054.  Call the hotel at (817) 281-5800 and refer to the Texas Municipal League room block in order to receive the group rate. A guest room rate of $129 (single/double) will be available until April 15, 2019, or until the block is full.

Continuing Education Credit (CEU)

An application has been submitted to the State Board of Accountancy for continuing education units.  No prerequisites are required for any session.

Attendees will earn 10 CPE credit for completing the Grant Writing for Municipal Programs and Projects, and elected officials (mayors and councilmembers) can earn up to ten Texas Municipal League Institute (TMLI) credits. How Should I Dress?

Dress casually and comfortably. We recommend that you dress in layers for your comfort as meeting room temperatures can fluctuate.
